Hi guys, I thought I'd share my progress so far with my double window mod.. Both the top and bottom shell are ready to go but the faceplate, HD shell, and the grill still have fresh paint so I'm going to let them dry overnight.. The only thing I need to change are the led's, still waiting on my amber led's to arrive in the mail, should take about 2 weeks from Hong Kong.. I basically just put everything back together to make sure the case closed.. My biggest fear was that the video port and power plug port wouldn't line up right with the metal chasis . Reason being is that I used a pretty thick piece of glass.. My camer is f**cking me up right now, the actual color is a burnt orange.. This damn camera of mine makes the actaul color look red!!

darth it took 4 days to do everything, day one I spent cutting and sanding the case. Day two was all about priming and painting, so since I started late and waited 30 minutes in between coats it took me all day.. Day 3 I had to redo the clearcoat on all the parts because I wanted more of a glossy look, so again I had to let everything dry overnight... This wasn't necessary because everything would have been dry in a few hours but there was no need to rush and I had nothing going on that day anyways.. The final day I glued the plexiglass windows on the case plus I painted the fan shroud and the DVD drive cover.. I actually made a cutout for my BenQ drive but I had one hell of a time trying make the proper adjustment to the magnet on the dvd case, damn that noise sounded like shit. The grinding sound the disks made pissed me off, seemed like the magnet was faulty so I gave up and put the original cover back on and painted it burnt orange to match the case. _________________________________________________________ Xbox V1.3
