hey people.. Got another doozie on my mind...
Bought a couple novelty horns at Harbor freight tools.
12v Air Horn and 12v Ooga horn
I have wired it up and it all works although I don't think their as loud as they should be, also I don't think the Ooga horn sounds right...
Air horn claims 135db+
Ooga horn claims 110db+
Question:
1.Since I have a 30A fuse inline should the whole line be 30A or is it a emergency instance if anything draws more than 30A so as to not burn out the horns?
2.Does the Amper raiting on the switches or button matter or lower the current/amps in the line?
In closing
i'm attaching the original harborfreight wiring diagram and the way I wired it all up

It sounds like you may have wired them incorrectly. The fuse is just in case anything shorts out. If anything shorts out, it was draw more than 30A, therefore blowing the fuse and protecting your horns.
Check your wiring and double check it. It sounds like you may have your horns wired in a series circuit. Series circuits cause you to have a voltage drop across all of your components (in this case your horns). The voltage drop would cause your horns to not be as loud as advertised.
In order for your horns to work properly, they need to be wired in a parallel circuit. Parallel circuits give you the same amount of line voltage on all components, and in this case it would be 12v on each horn.
If you need more info on series and parallel circuits check this out.
