Ive heard its definately a next-gen sports title.. Especially with the improved framerate the 360 can push..

The poor old PS3 version lost to Wii ive also read when it comes to madden.. Wii kept it simple..

Well I have got all the GS from it already 1 day after release and as far as graphics and game play it is great, but I find the online play kinda laggy compared to 2007 which was already laggy.

Microsoft need to develop something to give to the developers to help with their xbox live lag and coding issues.. There needs to be some sort of online standard for the live service with games since ive noticed that some games are fantastic online then others just are hopeless.

For example.

Rainbow six Vegas is surprisingly excellent online when it comes to lag.. As long as most people in the room are yellow or green pings you rarely get it. And thats one hell of a game with all the explosions and stuff going on.

Battlefield 2 is also very good for me being in australia since it still allows all users worldwide to play.. Very nicely done EA.. btw.. it does lag occassionally but its excellent.

Then you get games like MADDEN which you would think would have the latest and greatest technology for synchronizing all xbox 360's online but yet it doesnt.

come on M$.. Give your game devs something to work with.

I would like to retract my last statement about the lag. I was playing today with no lag at all. Maybe it was just because there was so many people playing it the first 2 days.

Yup EA use their own servers.. Probably just the first few days.

Anyone want to write up a review for madden NFL 08??
It would be nice to have some real gamers reviews up..

Im not a huge NFL fan but i did manage to finsh NFL 07.
