I got mine by going to walmart. I got there at 1:15 and was number 9 out of 24. At about eight, unexpectedly, some old guy came up to me and offered to pay $400 for just my seat! I took it, and then immediately went down and tried to buy another seat. Seat #20 sold me his seat for $300 so I bought that and finally got to buy my xbox at about 1 A.M. because the line was so long.
Holly crap 400 bucks...why couldnt someone have came and done that to me....i was number 2 in line at walmart...got there at 5pm and they opened at 6am....a very long and cold 13 hours i might add...i was even walking around saying ill sell this ticket for 200 bucks but no one would take it they just looked at me like a dumbass.....and you got 400 for one...jeez...well props to ya man...i just played about 5 hrs of live tonight on pdz....was pretty fun....im glad i got my 360...later. _________________________________________________________ Xbox V1.6

When they announced that they were taking pre orders in
may, I went to 3 different Game Crazy stores in town and
put down $50. I also got comfortable on my couch Friday
afternoon when Circuit City offered the pre sales. I went into
the first Game Crazy about 1:30 am on Launch Day and
picked up the first one. Got a little worried about a car full
of 360s in the middle of the night, so, just went home.
Strolled into the second Game Crazy about 2 the next afternoon
for the second one. I was #47 on the list for the 3rd Game
Crazy, and am still waiting for that one. They got 18 on the
first shipment, and have received ONE UNIT since. My last one
from Circuit City Arrived on the 29th. I went with the free
shipping on that one. I told everyone that might be interested
back in May that they should pre order. All that did are
sitting home playing with their 360s now. Those that didn't
listen spent hours in the cold, or spent BIG $$$ for them. I sold
one for $700, my boss wants to give me $800 for another. I
think I am going to wait for the feeding frenzy to die down on
Ebay then put the last one up on Ebay the week before
Christmas.

no he said he paid 820 for his... and hopefully it was a premium from that pricetag
i finally gave up on retail and got mine off ebay too, the middle of december... but i got a couple good deals and only got ripped off a little bit. my core was 480 and my premium was 631, so it was 1100 and some change for the both of them _________________________________________________________ .

I got mine for Christmas from my older sister.
On the 22nd of November she was out there for hours at Wal-Mart, Target and others. She spend over 10 hours in the cold hunting for one and guess what she came up empty handed. She was a pregnant lady and was due in 2 weeks at the time.
Well on Christmas Eve, her and her husband found a good price on EBay for the Premium 360 package. I was visiting for the Holidays so he said he was running out for errands. It was around 8 PM Saturday evening. I was perplexed but didn't ketch on. Well on Christmas day I got a Xbox 360 YEEHAA!
Her husband had met 2 teens in NJ to get it. It took him about 3 hours round trip. Crazy!
