have a few questions cause i just picked up a 360... i know there are no mod chips avaible... i understand the concept of backin up a game wiht a dvd drive and take it apart... where my quetions come into play...
why and what do i have to do when i take apart my 360? why will i be able to back up games ( do i need hte original copy to boot it with or no)
i plan on dl the games from irc or a torrent rather than backing up my OWN ( dont want to get banned not shure policies on piracy here?) orignal copies... i know how to use clonecd or isobuster or what ever is needed to burn games. i would apriceate it if some one could help me out... ooooh ya i dont have xbox live right now... BUT I PLAN ON GETTIN IT!!!! do i need to be connect to that to update my 360 befor i can play back up games? and will i still be able to play on live if i do this proccess? THANK YOU GUYS

Firstly our views on piracy are frowned upon greatly. We will not condone it in ANY way shape or form. Secondly, if you don't know anything about so much as firmware my advice is find a friend who already has a 360 and possibly knows about modding/ has a modded 360 themselves and get them to mod yours for you. Finally, there is a tutorial in the tutorials section written by me in detail on how to make backups of games you legally own.
Enjoy the site, and welcome...

Yes, but if you don't know ANYTHING even about firmware TRUST me when i tell you that you should NOT attempt to do this on your own or you'll end up with an expensive brick on your hands. _________________________________________________________ Predtech
