So what, we are dealing with now and the future. The eyetoy didn't change anything in the game industry the Kinect has. The eye did not do what the current Kinect can do. It not even comparable and neither is the Nintendo wand (fun but gets real old fast)
xbox did have USB, the controllers were USB, you can even make storage out of the controller ports. Still the first hard drive in a console was by microsoft. Sony has a nice list of failures, Betamax any one? but so what, yes they made mistakes but they still did some great things. Same goes for Microsoft, love them or hate them, they constantly try to improve the user experience with xbox live being their crowning achievement. All the complaining and misinformation comes down to what really are changes for the better.
This is all getting pretty stupid. The future of gaming is almost here it's too bad there are people who are unable to recognize it. People can keep trying to blur things, nitpick, create hypothetical fantasies designed to scare the average user, in the long run this will not work. Plenty of people already see it for what it is, some great new features are coming and so is some great gaming.
Agreed on the exclusives they are important but there are many reasons people are still going to choose an xbox one. Nothing is black and white to have carpet statements one way or another. PS4 will do great, they both will.

X_Splinter, the digital gaming is already here and it is the future. It's coming sooner than anyone thinks. I just think it is coming too soon. I think we should have the options but guess what we do. xbox one like you said supports both digital content and hard copies. All I said is it is going to happen, it can't be stopped and mainly for piracy issues it's going to be pushed. Microsoft is positioning firmly in this regard. I find it very hard to believe people can just spit at Microsoft for being so generous in the game sharing department that is made possible by the cloud.
Well so far your only argument is that you're supporting cloud for Microsoft and PS4 is going to have the same thing, saying it's a step behind is a bit unfair because Microsoft has a list of countries that it wont support on launch.
Everyone copies each other when it comes to consoles and everyone is a step behind in their own department when it comes to consoles.
Same goes for humanity, humans always have their own unique pros and cons.
So really there is no point in bickering about which console will be better. I say Sony will do better over the fact there is no restrictions, can't you acknowledged that?
If you got the cash and don't mind restrictions go for microsoft.
If you don't got the cash go for Sony.

i know one thing for sure, with the current state of internet worldwide, and other restrictions that people dont like, the xbox one will not be in every home, the x1 will not be the one console everyone chooses, the numbers will not be there like they, for some reason, believe it will, not when there is a choice.
sure the idea of a super cluster playing games for you when your not there, keeping stats updated for your sports games, and making new maps, weapons, avatars, available is a good idea. but because of the restrictions and rules and the maze of words you have to navigate to lend a game to a friend, i think people are willing to trust in the ps4. the ideas will be used by other companies, and the responsibility of cloud additions will probably be the responsibility of the developers/publishers of the games, not centralized into one network.
the day will come when hackers take down the live network, cloud clusters or not it will be taken offline via dns or something else, they will do this for the sole reason of nener nener. ruining everyones fun. take down the psn and everyone keeps going all be it without multiplayer, but imagine if livenetwork was down for a month, a fair few xbox1s would be on youtube getting microwaved, shot and blended. like the rrod curse, it just seems faith in microsoft is very short these days, since xp they have released one blunder after the other. its a risk many arent willing to take if they can only afford one console.
ps4 better deliver ironcast internal organs or people will flock back in greater numbers than imagined.

Xbox ONE is going to have a dial up modem? DSL is not available in my area and its not even that rural of a town. No just pointing how it will be possible for a much of the world to still be able to access games on xbox one while needing 1 connection a day. This is not about 24 hrs constant connection. The xbox one does not need a modem to access 56k. You just need a PC with modem, ethernet and a hub. That's not really practical. My point was that it wouldn't take a super connection just to transfer the data for the xbox live account. There's also far more people with internet that can have a xbox one than is suggested by the PS4 fans.
It's too bad I guess if you don't have internet at all. So just go with something else. In this day and age it is time for internet access to be developed at a faster rate. I love the statements like this. Everyone one here does not want a PS4. It's true that not everyone on here wants a xbox one too. Some here like me want them both. This is an xbox site they are both xboxes. Moderators should not be out of line with promoting competing brands.

Why did hobbs create a Playstation forum?
Thiis isn't a community that works for Microsoft this is a community that gives user opinions on what they think they'll like when it comes down to gaming. We give honest thoughts on what we think is best for gaming.
Just sounds like you're sort of running out of steam to me by throwing out this is a xbox site you're not suppose to like Sony more.
