Actually. it's real easy to find used games even within a week of a console being released. Returns, people selling them on ebay because they beat them and so on.
Microsoft don't like that
Chances are yo uwont find a used copy that isn't going for $40 even if you can.

That depends on the games of course. Used is used. I had no problem getting used games from $10 to $30 when the 360 was released, talking a week afterwards and beyond. Gamestop, Ebay and my friends had them. Yup and stores like gaystop doesnt even sale sealed copies all that often they display it as new though.

Yeah Gamestop jipped me once. They had a package of Rockband 2 for sale with guitar and drums and it was being sold as new. It was a little cheaper than most places at the time. So I grabbed it even tho the package had some ripped plastic and a couple of light dents. Well, there were finger prints all over the guitar and drums and the drums were clearly used with plenty of marks from the drum sticks. Right from digital download/streaming perspective but not from a hard media one. The 720 will still be disc based. To me it is ridiculous to make it so you can not play a used original game on it that is on a disc. It's taking the copy thing to whole need level. It's just more control from the billionaires over what the end-user does with their own possessions. The only way they can force that is by requesting an internet connection to every single console they sell. So games would be like Steam. Which is why I hate Steam games.
