The 84-inch LG 3DTV is what LG is calling ‘Ultra Definition’, designed to display a pixel density that’s four times any 1080p television, the 84-inch display offers a resolution of 3840 by 2160 or eight million pixels. Yeah, that’s crazy.
Even if you get one of these TV's do not hold your breath waiting for the game companies to put out a game that can run at the res., 360 games can not even do full 1080p. I know they can up-scale to 1080p but as I understand it, even today, non of the 360 games have a native resolution of 1080p

Ya, everything is rendered in 720p and upscaled to 1080p. The PS3 is the only current gen console that has native 1080p games but there are so few of them that they almost don't exist either.
I was playing Gears of War 1 on my new 1080p TV last night with my friend and there were some extreme framerate issues. Cutscenes would get really choppy and when certain things exploded the game game would freeze for a second and then continue. If a game from 2006 is doing that, I can't even imagine that a game like Halo Reach would do in 1080p. When I was playing through Halo Reach about a year ago I was playing through it on my 21 inch 480i TV from 2002 and there were some really bad framerate spikes in almost all of the cutscenes. _________________________________________________________

So basically at the moment it is a useless TV if nothing can push it to the limits.
I'm very happy with my 2 Tv's they get plenty of a work out.

It's a shame they are only 720p
Has for the issue my TV is 1080p and I never had framerate problems, that has to be console related _________________________________________________________
