I know you have been talking for a long time saying you wanted a jtag.
Haven't read too much on how to do it, but it does not work on xenon 360's. _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

I read the details looks pretty much like a jtag maybe a little less work but not much in it. Looks the same process time to warm up the soldering iron. Isn't the xenon an early one?

Yeah Xenon is the oldest. Most are RROD by now anyways lol. This is VERY big news, dare I say as important as the original jtag hack?
Your not technically performing the JTAG exploit but the "Kernel Reset Glitch".. Works with any console and is known to work with future updates! _________________________________________________________

I wonder with this if a "live" hack can be done, ie ran via disc so that it can revert to normal and pass as untouched on XBOX Live or if its a permanant and easily detectable modification

Yesterday I would have said absolutely no way, but considering the exploit is on Cb-a which (they say) is "impossible to patch", I think there might be a chance. Theory wise if they have complete control over the system before any checks start up they should be able to "push" anything they want through making it all come up as legit. Because everything would be going through checked there may be no easy way to tell the difference between a compromised system and an un-compromised as all the checks are in the right box.
