posting this for a friend of mine, his tv died, so he bought another one, turns out, his resolution is too high for the new tv, anyone know a way to reset the resolution, or might be able to give a play-by-play on what to do to change the resolution? any help is greatly appreciated, he's pulling out his hair

ok, he's an idiot, theres a tv/hdtv switch...... next time i see him, i'm slapping him......
