Good news (and also if you have a PS3), the keys Sony use to sign their PSP software has been found (same applies to PS3, they were found a couple of weeks ago).

So dust off your PSP's and charge your batteries because it may get a second life Very Happy

PSP fully hacked

I've never owned a PSP. I have an original DS but have never done anything to it.

I wish they could do something like this for the xbox 360. The PS3 has gotten mods a lot lately and the xbox 360 got the JTAG a while ago but it still isn't very mainstream :/

Now that the PS3 will be fully hackable, i personally don't think that there is any point in getting a Jtag. The community is small and developers will focus on the PS3 as they will be able to do more.

I bought a Jtag a couple of months ago, if i knew this was going to happen i would have held off and got a PS3... sorry xbox.

It seems like once the PS3 got hacked it was a slippery slope for new hacks. In only a few short months it's already fully usable by home brew. The xbox has had firmware since at least 2006, so why can't anyone get the codes for the xbox??

I kind of also missed when the JTAG exploit was found. I just remember it just kind of popped out of no where around April of last year for me.
