Hi,
since the hack for the xbox slim dvd has not been released yet im looking for another way to play games from.
i thought about installing a dashboard and ftp'ing from my pc and uploading games using qwinx(not sure if that is the correct name).
is there a way to install SID 5 on the slim? is there another way of getting iso games from pc to xbox HD?
Sid 5 will only work for the old xbox 1 bro and to play games from a 360 HDD you need to Jtag the xbox, if you just want to play your game back ups the firmware flash will work.

You need to wait for the realese of LT+ for Slim consoles.
Also JTAG is impossible in the Slim Xbox _________________________________________________________

ah well was hoping that there is a way so i would not have to wait for the LT+ for slims.

I think you can but you will get banned in a hurry and no way to bypass AP25 _________________________________________________________

i dont have to play on the internet, so im not afraid of getting banned.
what i was thinking of was getting an external drive, putting games on it than connect it to the xbox
is there a program to get the another xbox drive encrypted with data on it?
is the key used for the HDD encryption is located on the dvd drive?

You can not use an external HDD to play games on your xbox 360 (Only JTAG consoles can)
With a regular xbox 360 (non JTAG) you can only play games with the disc. And to play a backup the DVD Drive needs to be flashed. Also you cant replace your DVD drive without it Key plus the Slim has a slim DVD drive so basically you have to wait _________________________________________________________
On the bright side it sounds to me like they are real close to dropping a firmware for the slim but if i had to guess you would still want to stay off line with it when it hits.

It probably be some kind of xmas gift for the modders... They are not releaseing it right away as there is work still being done and they got to make there money quick to before they release they probably charging $100+ to do the mod right now ha. But there is a way to spoof to older drives but it involves cutting in certain spots on drive and the case and getting the f/w off the slim its better to wait anyways. Some people are impatient specially when these slims only been out for a little bit they expect it to be hacked that day and f/w released give the people time to make stuff happen. lol Take care _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!
