Hey guys ... Well I now would like to know if its possible to connect a Falcon Xbox 360 to an LCD Monitor using the 360's HDMI output, and also somehow get audio ?? That is, I know there's a HD AV cable out there for this job, but I think HDMI ports offer better quality, so I'm trying to connect my 360 and an LCD which has a DVI port (may also have a HDMI input, don't know for sure yet). Problem is I don't know how to get the audio output from the 360 this way .. any suggestions ?

I would use the standard option out from the 360 with your red and white connectors, and maybe run to radioshack and get a female to female adapter stereo rca to 1/8" minijack.

Just plug this into the standard sockets on the audio puck, and it will allow you to plug in your headphones or standard computer speakers. If you have a better set of speakers, they may take the rca directly, or even the optical input.

Something like this.

I had to run this set up on my tv a while back, DVI/HDMI and i used the audio connector for sound.

For the sound use the connector circled in red.
