Hey guys.

Well I want to copy frozenfire1 idea of placing 8 ram heatsinks in the 360 board like the 2 that Whisper Max offer

frozenfire1 has done this:
** SEE ATTACHMENT **

Now I ask does it worth putting copper heatsinks, or Aluminium is fine for that?

Copper is 2x better but it is 3x expensive.

Experts say:
Copper compensate if:
o Air flow speeds are very high (over 800 linear feet per minute)
o The heat input area, the hot spot on the mounting surface, is small (25% or
less) in comparison to the size of the heat sink base.

As I sell aluminium in my day job I would be going for the copper bud.

Reason being is that alloy is cheap and doesn't transfer heat very well.

Copper on the other hand is very good at transferring heat.

Yeah they are expensive, but they are worth it.

Only use alloy for rims on cars and to make windows out of Smile

It is a cheap and nasty metal bud.

Does it seem like it keeps the RAM much cooler? Or just a little bit cooler?

From 30% to 50%, if you dont have good fan it is almost useless.

You can put them in not only Ram but all over a motherboard
