Is this for the update coming out tomorrow?
I have not been keeping up on it. I would wright it but I think some of the others are more wise to the dash board stuff. Heck I don't even go anywhere past my xbox then start up the games. Crap, I do not have anyway to get screen shots either.
But I am excited to see what will be new. I am looking forward to some new stuff for my avatar, He really needs some kind of gun.

Here is an update for you:
Quote:
Although there have been numerous software updates for Microsoft's gaming console in the past, this is the first one to overwrite the vital boot block. Any failure while updating this will break the Xbox 360 beyond repair. Statistics from other systems have shown that about one in a thousand bootloader updates goes wrong, and unless Microsoft has a novel solution to this problem, this puts tens of thousands of Xboxes at risk.
Apparantly the latest 360's have been hacked, and as part of this update m$ are stopping this. So if you do not update, you will be able to run homebrew at some point, soon hopefully.
There is also a guide on there how to install Ubuntu to the hard drive by using a patched version of king kong, but not sure if it is fully working.
So if you want XBMC 360 or MAME 360, don't update your systems just yet, or just buy another console. Lets just hope it doesn't all come to nothing. _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

Yeh, ive heard that people have been able to run linux on their boxes but once you do maybe you wont be able to go back.. Xbox 360 is boring without the Xbox LIVE service, well especially for the price tag at the moment.
Don't get me wrong though, i so want to see some emulators and other homebrew stuff running on 360 oneday.. Its been years already for me! _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:
