Has anybody heard of this book series? I know I'm probably not going to get anywhere with a bunch of gamers, lol, but I want to know peoples thoughts on it. I just got done with the first book of the series (Wizard's First Rule), and now I'm hooked.

Dude don't even get me started with this series, It's easily my favorite book series of all time.

I started reading it about 4 years ago when I was in 7th grade. Since then I've read all of the books twice. It's such an amazing series.

I wish I could go back in time and reread them over again for the very first time. I just don't get the same wow factor I did through the first read through.

Yea, I know how that is. I've done that a couple of times with other books.

Sad enough, my wife's ex recommended this book to her, and she said she liked it, so I picked it up one day and started reading. Every chance I got, I was reading it, and now that I finished the first one, I want to read them all. I tried finding a place online where I could read them, but I couldn't find it.

I guess I'll just have to convince her to let me buy the next book, lmao.

I remember I couldn't stop reading them the first time through either. Summer of 2005 I read through book 2, 3, 4 and 5 in a month. It's so hard to put done those amazing books.

I'm reading the wheel of time series right now actually. I'm on book 3 - The dragon reborn.

It's a good series and all, but it's not as exciting as the sword of truth.

I'll think about picking that series up once I'm done with this one. Book 1 finished, 11 to go Smile

The series does get better as you go along.

Book 6 (faith of the fallen) is my favorite book of the series, it is just amazing.

All of the books are great with the exception of the 7th book (The pillars of creation). The whole book is a side story and I was bored as hell reading through it. It picks up again in the 8th book (naked empire), so it works out in the end.
