Don't feel bad I can't solder eithier. That is why I appreciate when people do terrific looking mods such as the one pictured above. Takes some serious skills to be able to do that stuff without frying something. _________________________________________________________

What's up Rebel and Gcguyfromhell? Thanks for the compliment on the box by the way, I really appreciate it. Now as for the soldering, it can be a little intimidating the first time you do it but it's a breeze once you get some practice time in, I started practicing soldering 20 and 22 gauge wires to resistor legs and on broken video cards or sound cards, I also practiced soldering wires together .. I had the hardest time soldering these led wires to the 12v mosfets on the 360 motherboard without any flux, besides the area is too freaking small to begin with. Next time I'm using the 12v under the Xbox 360 power supply, the solder doesn't flow correctly on these mosfets.. I did start freaking out after a while because I thought I was applying too much heat to the motherboard, hey all I know is that I've got light and no error codes.. In the end it all came together nicely, later fellas.
I've got some power points for the top of the 360 motherboard from llamma if anyone is interested, I used the 2 yellow 12v mosfets up top next to the fan area then grounded to the area in blue just to the left. What a bitch!!!!

Soldering tools cost around $10-$1,000 lmao For these jobs you really want a reliable one that is good so if your looking at one don't go to cheap as they don't attend to last to long. To practice got a old vcr or dvd player that doesnt work if so just practice soldering wires on the boreds on them. Usually if you find the right leds they come with the resistors for them for the 12v. or smd strips i think those already have the resistors built into them.

Scarface just gave you some great advice there, just read up on soldering and get some practice soldering wires on a old vcr of dvd player like Scarface just said.. that exactly what i suggest to scar..
I always say grab some old electronics and start practicing.. Even old pc m/board are fun to muck around with.. Im not a expert soldierer either but i have done plenty of soldiering mods.. Keep practicing guys. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

I had a really expensive one but its screwed and have need another one for ages now.. Ive been borrowing friends gear or going to my buddies house when i need to.. To replace what i had is around $200+ AUD..
