I'm not sure how many ppl here have seen this movie, but i watched it a couple days ago and compared to the rest of the ft13th movies this one sux. to me it wasnt worth the time watching. _________________________________________________________

I hope the poor quality was due to the directing and writing, Did the guy Playing Jason do ok? He is a local guy from my home town. So far we have Rick - Casey and roger Mears race car drivers, The band KORN, Buck Owens country singer, The band ADEMA, Robert Beltran, the guy that played Commander Chakotay on startrek Voyager, Merle Haggard country star, and a crap load of sports guys. Not bad for a little cow town, but Im actualy from an even smaller town in Alaska called Kenai.
now that was a small town, I remember when our town got our firs street light, And the kids I went to school with in 2nd grade are the same kids I graduated highschool with, A class of about 60 or so.
I was realy excited to see a local guy get a fantastic part like Jason, too bad the movie did not turn out so great.
They just don't make horror like they did in the 70's. Also it seems like the movies back in the 30's through the 50's really knew how to have a great movie based on characters and a great story.
The movies today are more action packed and visually stunning but pale in comparison in story telling With a very few exceptions of course.
personally i think they were trying to make the quality of the movie like the old jason movies. as far as the guy playing jason, i think kane hodder did the best job. (VII, VIII, jason goes to hell, and jason x) _________________________________________________________

talking to someone who has seen all the old ones really what was the point of making a remake.. u cant beat the old ones so why try..
