That is useful, but i dont need it. My sister's computer is already equiped with a PCI IDE/SATA
I just want something that would NOT void HDD Warranty. Oh well. Might as well use the hair dryer technique for the sticker and just plug it in to her computer

The conectivity kit wont void youre warranty.
it will conect to the hard drive without takeing it to bits .
This Xbox 360 hard drive connector combines a SATA connector and a Mini USB connector into one plug. The Mini USB connector provides the power to the Xbox 360 HDD. The hard drive inside Xbox 360 uses standard connectors, but this adapter will keep you from opening the case, voiding your warranty. It will also be much quicker to use daily. You can use Xplorer360 to get full read/write access to the drive. _________________________________________________________ IXtreme v1.9.

I'm not sure if I'm catching this the wrong way but it sounds like you want to upgrade friends hard drives to 120gb without voiding the warranty? There's really no way to do that, you'll have to either like you mentioned get the hard drive cases from broken systems, and give them to your friends, or open theirs.
There's no way to upgrade a 20gb to a 120 without swapping physical parts though. _________________________________________________________

Ah sorry, you got confused. What i meant is, I want a device used for general situations.
1. I dont care if my warranty to my HDD is voided i can crack it open with no problem
2. However, if i want to go into my friends HDD for some map-addons, i can go into theirs without voiding their warranty
3. years from now if im done with modding, i can still use the cable for USB to SATA/IDE conectivity, so the device wouldnt go to waste :]
