Actually if you guys do some research like I did ...You will find that blu-ray ain't doing all that good eithier. In fact hardly anyone is buying the movies due to the outrageous prices and even the tech geeks are saying the picture is not worth the cost. But yeah blu-ray is having huge problems in sales and it is getting worse. Alot of you guys are probably too young to remember this but Sony had another format go tits up called BETA. I actually liked BETA versus VHS...the tapes were smaller and it had a better picture. But just because something is better doesnt mean its going to sell. _________________________________________________________

Hell yeah I used to watch laserdiscs all the time. They were alot slower to access stuff then the dvd was but hey for the later 80's this thing was awesome! But yeah the discs were big but you didnt care because they fit in with your record albums. _________________________________________________________

8-track tapes were the bomb!!! Much better then cassettes because you just punched a number on the player instead of rewinding and fast forwarding. Yep good memories of rocking out too AC/DC on 8 track! _________________________________________________________

Hehe I believe that was the year the smokey and the bandit firebirds came out. The black firebirds with the gold firebird across the hood. Those were sweet. My first car was a 1969 Barracuda and I loved that car so much! Of course that was when gas was only 75cents a gallon and you could still go cruising on Friday and Satuday nights without getting into trouble. _________________________________________________________
