Ok the title says it all. My question though.... I havent played any "backed up" games since the last banning wave, i have only been using original disks... and the disks have the scratches to prove it. =( So how did they detect my firmware? i have 1.6 and thats the only thing that has changed. Like I said though, I havent used anything but originals in it... but i have been using the usb port to charge my iphone alot lately. could that have been the problem?
Also, if i get another console and use the hdd from the modded one will the other console get banned? _________________________________________________________ XBOX360

It seems like MS can detect firmware that isn't stock now, so just going online with modded firmware could get you banned.
As for getting a new console and using your hard drive, it will be fine, nothing will happen to the new console. _________________________________________________________

Sucks to hear it guys..
Heaps of people i know have been hit with the ban hammer too and they have only been playing original games or not at all over the past 8 months or so..
I guess microsoft just need to boost their hardware sales for xmas.. lol

I have never seen this many people banned almkst every console i ever modded for someone has been banned my phone has been ringing like crazy one guy I modded his console one month ago and he said hes only been playing madden which he bought retail.
