PWNED
A corruption of the word "Owned." This originated in an online game called Warcraft, where a map designer misspelled "owned." When the computer beat a player, it was supposed to say, so-and-so "has been owned."
Instead, it said, so-and-so "has been pwned."
It basically means "to own" or to be dominated by an opponent or situation, especially by some god-like or computer-like force.
NOOB
A noob or n00b is someone that lacks intellegance or common sense, most people think that noob is a word used only in the online gaming world, but in reality it is becoming an ever popular word with teenage society.
a noob could be simply a level 100 running round shouting ''WTF DO I GO!?'' or someone calling someone else a noob and then getting hit with a brick, anyone can call anyone a noob, but normally they are noobs themselves
STFU
STFU - "shut the %#&@ up" Nice people never use this phrase. But then again this is the gaming world.
CAMPER
One who for the most part remains stationary ither guarding an objective or lying in wait for an unsuspecting victem to cross his path. Often frowned upon by some but a 100% legal and legit style of game play, even snipers get insulted as campers in game. Sometimes even being seen in a prone or even kneeling possition can get you taged with the term CAMPER. One type of camping that is a NO NO, although legal , camping an enemy spawn point is considered DIRTY. ( Unless the game has multiple spawn points and this is the last available spawn for the enemy, then it is basicly just finishing the game off to take final base.)
GOMER
A Gomer is pretty much the opposite of a camper, someone with experience in a particular game but playing in a very careless manner to the demise of his team. running arround like a chicken with its head cut off out in the open, or just screwing arround making himself a target not realy caring about gettin killed and getting a very poor kill death ratio pulling his team down. Not to be confused with someone getting PAWNED, this guy just doesnt give a S--T any more. He basicly has no intrest in taking out enemy but rather chasing the cute little butterflies and shooting cans in the middle of a fire fight.
TEAM KILLER
The scum of the gaming universe, Someone that intentionaly kills team mates in Multiplayer games. On the gamer list of scum bags thats about as bad as you can get. The Osama Bin Ladens of the online gaming world! Not to be confused with those that may make an unintentional team kill.
DICK
A dick is One step down from a Team Killer, A DICK will basicly go out of his way to interfear with his team mates game play short of killing them himself but his antics can get his team mates killed. For instance standing at a team snipers possition jumping arround or firing shots to give away the snipers possition, standing infront of a team mate so he cant see, flash banging his team mates intentionaly, intentionaly detonating any traps set up by one of his team mates including mines, C4 or claymore traps. Damaging his own teams vacant vehicles etc. Just being a huge DICK.
PEST
Someone causing disruptions in game through Verbal communications, blasting his sereo in his mic, insulting other players, or just being generaly verbaly annoying, typicaly are quickly muted by his team mates while some of the more simple minded will actulay enguage the pest through back and forth communication, himself becoming a Pest and also getting muted. Pests are contagious and the only cure is a simple muting.
GOT RAPED
A sever form of PWNAGE, basicly you or your team gets pwned so bad you might as well have just lined up against the wall and saved your energy. If the pwnage is sever enough, your butt may actualy hurt after a game...
