I moved my elite out to the living room so I could hear the fed ex guy when he showed up with my other 360 and hooked the elite up to this regular tv using component cables. I have been playing cod4 and my fricken eyes are killing me!!!!! I didn't realize how crisp and clear hdtv is compared to a regular tv with component cables hooked up too it. I was running around in cod4 squinting at the tv looking for enemies and my eyes are fried! I am even getting a headache from trying to focus on this regular tv. I wish the fed ex guy would hurry up so I can move back to my hobby room and hook my elite back up to the hdtv! I will let my wife play the other 360 on the regular tv! Laughing

Yeah Darth I was playing on that exact same model you have the emerson 20inch televison until I got my hdtv. But I just got my hdtv awhile back after working my tail off to afford it. Just because you are 15 doesnt mean you can't mow lawns and rake leaves and clean gutters and such to earn money for a hdtv. When I was 14 I was logging cedar out in the woods for 12 hours a day. So if you want one bad enough you will find a way to earn the money. Very Happy

Well i do mow lawns from April till about October. In the fall i rake leaves and do random chores people as me to. I make about $150 a month doing that, but it all gets spent on computer parts, hdd's, mod chips, games and other stuff for my consoles lol. Might have to start saving up though (I have $2400 in a savings account for a car already).

For those of you who cannot afford a large HDTV i would suggest any normal LCD PC Monitor say 17" or larger preferably. You could purchase a XBOX 360 VGA Cable which will enable some HD modes on the monitor.

I use this on my SAMSUNG 21.9" Widescreen LCD for friends when they muck about at my house.. Ask m0nster what its like.. Its HD.. Wink

so pickup a good LCD Monitor darth and that will tie you over mate.

That is how I game, on a 22 inch PC monitor, cause my other half is watching TV on our HD LCD TV.

But when the weekend comes around I hook up the 360 to the LCD for some games.

A monitor is awesome for gaming.

Just get one with a refresh rate better than 8ms (5ms preferably)and your set.

You know that sounds like a good idea for the living room since we really don't have the space to put a hdtv with all the stuff my wife collects. That suggestion could be just the ticket. Thanks guys.

It really does wonders, I used my Samsung 226BW (22" LCD Monitor, around 300$ now) and it worked wonders with the vga cable, Would recommend doing this as a cheap but high quality solution. But If you can afford it go with a nice big HDTV set haha
