The other day, I left my 360 on for 18 straight consecutive hours, and did not freeze once, I left it on far cry at 12:00 am and until 8:00 pm I just wanted to see how long it could stay up and running without any freezes or RROD and nothing, I did the x-clamp rep. on it. Hey robbieboy, have you done the x-clamp rep on it?

dose anyone know if the fan without the controller runs fast enough to cool it well........

it seems like it dose cos the air is just warm now and not hot......(i think a good sign)

just want to make shure....

Thanks
RB

It goes into auto mode if the controller is not in place. So its fine, I take the controller/display off when I tuck my 360 in a out of the way spot.

Yo robbieboy, it wouldn't hurt to do the x-clamp rep. it will be well worth the $5 you spend to fix it and be so much cooler and less pressure off the mobo after you do it. I thought it would be hard at first but it was cake man.

I would say so, it's only a couple of bolts and metal, nylon washers.
