why is my laptop with all of my music and movies not tied into my internet, but yet my 360 thats 5 feet away can read all of my mp3 files off it since the new update? i thought 360 and even the new elites werent supposed to have wifi?

There is no wifi on 360's. Its getting it off the network somehow, to test unplug your cat 5 to it, and try to play the music.

Yeh, sounds to me like it has found your laptop via your network/router connection.. Take out the RJ45 Network lead and try again.

crazy, didnt know that it could read my computer just because its hooked to a router. if it can do that without me telling it to, who else can see anything they want with no hassle? and im behind a firewall that wont allow outgoing or incoming info off my computer unless i tell it to.
