Well idealy we need about 100,000 - 200,000 signatures so that there is a decent ammount of signature vs 360 sales. Apparently Xbox has shifted over 1 million units in the US and Europe since launch and that number is growing daily.
Good news is i've had over 140 signatures in the past 20 hours and the rate still seams to be growing.

its a noble cause, yet i fear a hopeless one.
no matter how many users want to play their downloaded avi's with the 360 i doubt m$ will ever pay the liscensing fees to divx to provide support for a format thats not normally used by legally distributed video.
i suspect we will have much better odds waiting for a 360 modchip and a port of xbmc... _________________________________________________________ .
