I have been looking all over for a version guide for the 360 and can't find one. Does anyone know how to determine (preferably while still in the store, i.e serial numbers) if a 360 is the latest version or not.

Also, are there specific versions that I want to make sure I don't get due to an increased failure rate etc?

I don't think there are any different versions of the 360 out yet, the only thing I'm aware of M$ changing so far is the dvd drive.
