I just got an XBOX 360 (with the Samsung Drive!) and i got Need for Speed Carbon but when i try to play the disk it gives me a message that i need to update the system in order to play the game. I'm not sure if this will prevent me from being able to mod my 360 in the future. I'm just starting to read up on how to mod my 360 so i don't know much aside from the fact that the DVD-ROMs firmware needs to be modified in order to play backups. Can anyone tell me if updating from this game or any other game matters or not? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

lol I can't wait to get my basement finished so I can have some time to get good at it. The only game I tend to play is Fight Night and I'm tired of getting my butt kicked on a constant basis. lol Maybe I can get good at GOW
