for me the best kind of mod for the 360 is the firmware upgrade . cuz it let you play your own backups. so that your newly $60 game wont get scratch or something like that....
there alot of tutorials in the website . check them out

Sorry for the newbie question. By firmware upgrade, are you referring to motherboard firmware or DVD player firmware?

Just wondering if you logon to live with a backup will you get banned like the old xbox? does it know if you flashed the fermware?
