Hey guys I am lost.
I bought a new 360 Hardrive, I transfer every thing to the new x360 HDD via transfer cable and now my avatar is not showing(it is in blank) and the Kinect doesn't work claiming it need a system update.
The problem is my x360 is offline with dash 12625 and the kinect game disk dont ask to for an update. So how the hell I am suppose to update the dash or reinstall the dash?
Even the offline dash in xbox.com is the 12625... _________________________________________________________
Download the dash and put it on a usb stick, try updating from there when it says it needs an update, or is this a jtag xbox?
Oh ya, have you done an erase of system update on the console with this?
With the console off, press and hold the sync up button.
While holding the sync button press the power button to turn on the console
Continue to hold the sync button until the Console has booted up completely.
During the boot process the console should clear any failed updates, allowing you to use it normally.

My neighbor just did the update and now it will not read games, only dvd's. Looking online she will be entitled to a new xbox with 250gig hard drive and a 1 year subscription. Its not my 360, its my neighbors. But yes, she has updated to the 13xxx dash and the dvd drive no longer reads games.
I have read they can tell if the update has buggered your dvd drive when you connect the xbox to the internet, and obviously you will already know, and they will email you. _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.
