I dont think it would, I have the method down to just doing 2 trace cuts and after i pull the key and flash it i just solder it back up and i am done.
I also use:
-Maximus 360 Xtractor PRO 360Xtractor
-Maximus Vampire i got the kit with the rebuild boards but i dont use the rebuild boards.
I just follow there guide on getting the full firmware for there standalone vampire and then after that is done i follow jungleflashers method to flash it. I guess once you have the key though you can put everything back to gether and if your sure you have the key (testing on another drive) then do the lite-on erase and that would put the lite-on into vendor mode load the key back up and then load the hacked f/w up to spoof the key then go to write once done hit ata outro reset and hook it up.
They rather you do the full key dump as pose to with the lite-on 7 series doing the r707 as that doesnt bring over the calibration of the laser but i have not ever had anyone come back with a bad laser on the lite-on 7 series, so i do not know what those people are doing wrong.
