So I was screwing around on my x-box last night, and I saw that you could download games off the disc onto the hard drive. Now I thought this was pretty cool, so I tried it out. After it was fully "downloaded" I took the disc out, and tried playing it, and it told me to insert the game disc. Now whats the point of this feature...if it doesn't do anything? Can anybody help out with this? _________________________________________________________ ~*~GCGUY~*~
all this does is help the 360 run quieter and in some cases the game will load faster. the 360 needs the disc image to actually boot the game though. _________________________________________________________
Don't just grab life by the horns. Grab it by the balls and squeeze.
Tablet: Coby Kyros mid1024 (1024n) - Rooted and modded
Phone: Motorola Electrify 2 (RAZR) - Rooted
Laptop: HP DV7 Gaming edition
Well thats annoying. I was all excited that I could download main games to my system, lol. _________________________________________________________ ~*~GCGUY~*~
Well its a good feature and not really any more effort than putting the disc in the drive (once it is installed)
For some games you will notice a HUGE difference in load times (fallout 3, oblivion are two major ones) and this is a good thing in my books. Also it helps reduce the wear and tear on your DVD drive which is another positive so I think it is worth its weight.

Another great use for it is if you have a scratched disc that won't work anymore. My army of two has a ring around it so it won't play anymore. So I just had my friend bring his copy over and put it on my Hard drive. Now I'm able to play army of two with my disc without even having to rebuy it _________________________________________________________
