I had an idea for a mod and i dont think anybody has tried it yet. What i want to is hook up the HDD LED's to my Pulse VU 2X inside my console. I know theres an issue with the wires that would have to run into the console for the connection to the chip and also 5v standby power, so i came up with a simple solution of adding a small plug probl like the ones that connect the rumble motors to the controller(i have several broken ones). also it would need to be recessed into the HDD so that it dosenot push the HDD up when it is attached to the console so id have to make a custom mount for it in the HDD. this would allow me to plug it into the console and still have the ability to remove the HDD. Just wanted some input on this to see if it was worth the trouble. might try it tonight to see if it would even be possible.

If you have time or any documentation etc please feel free to fill us all in with a tutorial.. We have a extensive tutorials database for xbox 360 and i can see a nice tutorial up there with your name on it.. hehehhe lmfao.
anyway, keep at it. If you have some pics feel free to attach them to your profile too.. You could also blog about your project and include youtube videos and images just like in the forums.
