A friend brings me a 360 to repair and I look in the av port and the connections is missing and all that is lefts is bent copper pins. He used a mad catz video cable and it fit so tight that when he unplugged it, it rip apart the av port.
Has anyone come across this!
I'm looking for a few option for repairing the av.

Well has the system ever been opened before? If not then by having you open it your friend will totally void his warranty. If it is still under warranty I would advise just sending it in to Microsoft. If it is not under warranty anymore then you will need to find a replacement audio/video port due to the fact that the one pictured is irreversibly fubared. There are several sites that sell xbox 360 parts. Just google it and I am sure you will find a company selling just the a/v port. I hope this helps and please keep us updated as to your progress. Very Happy

Thanks, I will have a look and see what I can find. He opened the system before he brought it to me and now he's telling me I can have it. I was considering doing a vga, composite, and component setup.
