Hey Guys.
I got my 360 the other day, hooked it all up fine, EXCEPT I can't get it to recognise the 2nd controller.
The Green LED around the big X button on the controller flashes but it doesn't seem to be picked up.
Any ideas?

Try hitting the little button above the L trigger. That button turns off and on the wireless conection. _________________________________________________________

Hey bud,
In the event you have a faulty RF trans unit on the remote, try a play and charge kit.
It hooks the controller up via USB to charge and when the machine is first turned on without the controller in "trickle charge mode*"
It recognizes the controller as first person when turned on and I BELIEVE< not 100 % but I believe it can play the controller without the battery pack.
So I hope that might work for you and anyone else...

Well, you'd hope it's not faulty. However I'll keep this in mind...

You can always try a hard shock. Turn the controller on, then remove the batteries while its on. Put the batteries back in and try again. _________________________________________________________

There should be a little round button on the top of the controller, near LB (left shoulder button), hit it, and it should be spinning around, then hit the small connect button the right of the 2nd memory card port, this should make the 360 see the controller. _________________________________________________________

yes you have to hit both buttons to get them connected, and its the same if you want to switch a controller to a new console too.
no, its my understanding that the play and charge kit only uses the power lines from the usb... i dont think that it uses the signal at all just provides juice for the RF circuit _________________________________________________________ .
