Im not happy about the elite being black so i thought id paint my case black, plus it will match better with my carbon fiber face plate. I was just wondering what type of paints to use, also i plan on cutting out the Halo 3 logo on one side but where would i get the stencil, im assuming a dremil tool with a steady hand is required. my other question is about the plexi glass? how do i attach it? Sorry if this is been covered before but im new so help would be helpful, ive never done anything like this before

For the paint I used Rustolium Black night Metallic and Krylon clear coat.

The paint burner6999 recommended are great for the case, if your going to paint your controllers to match, use vinyle dye. It dyes the controllers so it wont wear off.
To make a stencil find a picture you would like to have, or create one. Blow it up to fit the side of your case, put it atop cardboard, or something thats strudy the vanilla envolpe's work well for that as well. Cut it out, then trace it to your case. Tape it down, so it doesn't move on you, and cause bad lines. Clear scotch tape, or masking tape works well.
Measure in 1/4 an inch, cut with a dremel tool, then sand down the rest. This way you dont go over, and when cutting with a dremel at times it heats up and melts the plastic. This way no worries about messed up lines.
To hold plexi on, use a hot glue gun, and tack it down with it.

If you want a sweet flat black for your case, go to your local auto parts store and get some Dupli-color vinyl dye its probably the coolest stuff to work with and looks awesome, and for attaching the plexi just hot glue it onto the inside of the case or you can flush mount it but that will take much more time and effort
