Other times of normal ISP downtime like switching providers for example is unavoidable. So yeah, Microsoft should still allow playing games with no internet connection and just lose out on the better whatever of the cloud during that time.
MS could do that if they wanted to _________________________________________________________ 10% VIP Discount (Coupon Code: HQ-VIP-001 ) - Signup for web hosting at www.TweakedHosting.com/clients/aff.php?aff=004 and earn the HQ network of sites recurring income!

PS4 has no worry about internet connections. _________________________________________________________ The internet, a place where people expect you to know what they know.

47" LG HDTV
Xbox 360 slim 0225 TX PCB; xk3ys/1TB HDD
PS2 Sliver slim, Freemcboot
Dreamcast, Free Boot
PSP, cfw I forgot which
GCW Zero
RIP UnleashX Xbox needs new hdd
HP envy 17.3" i5 lappy w/22" external monitor
90% of nz ( 4 million people ) will be using fibre before 2016, dotcom wants to give everyone free internet if hes not extridited, and wants to create another link to the world via panama.
but we pay too much for internet that is still very slow by international standards. our internet plus phone is $160 per month and its so slow we cant stream video ( hello 1990's ) and you have to let youtube buffer or it stutters at unwatchable levels.
im no noob when it comes to computers, ive been using linux since 1999, but i cant figure it out, there are only 30 houses in my whole town and they say its slow down from congestion :S

Someday all games are going to come from the cloud. Are you going to stop playing then? That's right I'm talking about digital content, games and so on.
There will be a day when your game streams from the cloud as you play just like online movies today.
we won't see that for quite some time. I'm not so sure I want it to go that far because I do like my hardcopies lol _________________________________________________________ 10% VIP Discount (Coupon Code: HQ-VIP-001 ) - Signup for web hosting at www.TweakedHosting.com/clients/aff.php?aff=004 and earn the HQ network of sites recurring income!

microsoft are the drm nazi's, im still amazed they allowed you to rip cd's on the xbox 1. lol
everything is going digital, id be surprised, if you can buy games in 8 years any other means other than digital/cloud. same with ps4, the games will be voucher only by the end of this next console generation. everyone on slow internet will either just get lost or play catchup.

You like hard copies and you're still defending the xbox one? o_0 _________________________________________________________ The internet, a place where people expect you to know what they know.

Wow that outrageous! We have high speed internet for $40 per month, the phone is phonepower voip at about $23 per month that uses the internet connection (works great too)
but Cable is an expensive rip off here. Some digital/HDTV content, and Internet was $140 here and that no phone either.
I have to agree with you. The thing i, once the fiber is everywhere and there are 30 providers to choose from in every state, then the pricing will start to come down to more affordable levels. _________________________________________________________ 10% VIP Discount (Coupon Code: HQ-VIP-001 ) - Signup for web hosting at www.TweakedHosting.com/clients/aff.php?aff=004 and earn the HQ network of sites recurring income!

not many people will be able to download 50GB game to install at their friends house, hard copies will stick around for now, probably on proprietary usb stick like the originals controller port, that would be safer than disc. movies could be delivered that way too.
i wonder why they dont already do it that way?
what am i saying im talking like a consumer not like a company sucking consumers for everything they have. disc's are cheaper.

Exactly what I am saying, you have to think like a typical consumer not someone who's tech crazy like the lot of us are. _________________________________________________________ The internet, a place where people expect you to know what they know.
