So you do have to update. The bummer for some people is that it will use up 128mb of space. If you have a 64mb card, you are screwed and can't go on live. They are doing some deal if you have a memory card to get a cheaper than usual hard drive or something. The NXE update was just like any other Xbox Live update, so if you dont install it you cant use Live.

Honestly though if people dont have AT LEAST a 20gb HDD for their 360 they should get one. I'm just glad I can finally start utilising my 120gb HDD that came with my 360 Elite (the game HDD install rocks!!).

I think you might be able to download it off xbox.com and burn it to a disc for the update. I know this is how you patch games and such if you don't have xbox live, not sure if it works for dashboards though. _________________________________________________________

Be careful with that leaked version, who knows when the update comes out on the 19th that it doesnt scan the HDD / Memory Card for users not assigned to it.

I thought that DJB, they will probably ban people who downloaded it early and should not have had it. But Robbieboy is banned already, so it don't really matter for him.
Do you think they will ban people who do the HD upgrade? I was thinking of doing it but dont wanna get mugged by M$ by buying an official 120gig drive. _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.
