It sounds to me like your going to need to open those ports in your windows firewall (and AVG if it has one) and set your network card to allow connection sharing

ok went in to the windows firewall and the add port part and there was only 2 that i could add the others popped up a message. The port UDP 10282 (WMC 360-3) cannot be added An entry for the same port UDP 10282 windows media player network sharing already exists. it did that on all of them apart from the 1st one and the 6th one. So if its doing that im gessing its already done and dont need to do it.

AVG ummm cannot see any firewall settings or a firewall in it only a virus scanner that i no of.

do i have to set IP on the xbox or the PC? its not showing the xbox up in the windows media player sharing part and when i turn xbox on the connection looks for connection on pc and then pops up a message limited no connection? Sad and it signs me out of trillian.
