Hi guys, I just spotted this article on llamma.com from several weeks ago and wondered why we never even heard of this. Anyways, check it out. It is a video of an apparent hotswap but the question has to be asked... Is it real or fake??

I believe it was proved to be real, but the kicker is that it has to be the same exact game, and it's pretty dangerous to do, could end up scratching the games, and such. You also gotta modify the drive so that you can reach in and swap disks, not very pleasant. _________________________________________________________

nah, not really, this type of swap has been possible on most every system since they started using disks. The PS1 was "hacked" using a spring, the PS2 with a butter knife, it just didn't get popular because it was difficult to do, and possibly damaged the disks. That's why this died down so quickly. _________________________________________________________

what's intresting is not the hotswap its self but how it bypases those check flags after he /she booted to the 360 dash then boot the game from their... i mean what i think was that a hotswap is this :... run retail game swap it w/ a fake game then run it asap... but i got amzed he ran the 360 dash then run the game..... so i see it as a good thing... not for the hotswap as we seen this b4 but as it bypases the check flags.... the new ps2 slime can also be done like this but u just slide the game..... with a small device... anyways i'v seen this but im like tis naaa..... _________________________________________________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
