Bought my self a USB enclosure and a Tosh 162c flashed it with Kreons v0.8 made my self a backup of one of my games... (USB becase i only have a Laptop) Just waiting on my aladdin2 to turn up. Hopefully i will have some good news on monday guys Oh my 360 is a samsung drive also, i have access to a hitachi also.

Ive got my aladdin2 360 mod installed too but havent had a chance to get a backup working yet..

My 360 still boots perfectly with the chip installed but i cant confirm 100% thats it is booting backups till i buy another dual layer burner..

Fill us in on how you go..
If you find other info which may be relevant for this modchip please post links to it too..

Yeh, That's what mine is.. I have a hitachi NTSC 360 which i wont be touching.. The samsung is so much easier to install the mod on.

We are trying to keep all info in the one place.

Got my modchip installed now, made a couple of backups. None of them work. Im using a USB2 SD-H162 flashed with Kreon V0.81 I've tried to convert using the NME style ive also tried using the Xtreme style and converting it to NME. Neither of them worked:( Oh what to do?

I would try to find a backup of a game you own via bit torrent. I know there would be several specific NME-360 compatilbe backups released.. Try that.. Just remember we do not support software piracy on HQ but have no problem with our members backing up their originals. let us know how you go too.. Im sure you will get it to work.. Make sure the torrent is for the proper region, or it still won't work. What media, and burner are you using?

Good point ill make sure its PAL or check that the game is region free. Im using a NEC 6550A with LiggyDee's Bit-setting firmware. and im using TraxData DVD+DL
