I totally missed payday 1. I am playing the Beta and the full game will be out soon.
This will be a great multiplayer team game.
you and 3 pals do heists to earn skills and money. Jewlery stores, banks and all kinds of places.
You can go in guns blazing or do it smart and get in and out before the cops know the place got hit.
Each player can build up all kinds of skills so if you hook up with the right friends that have trained up the right skills you can be very successful.
One guy can be the safe cracker, another the muscle to keep the hostages in line, even get the hostages to help you if you get your stolkholm syndrome skill built up enough, etc.
The game has a lot of random elements, so you can do the same level over and over and have different results. For instance the next time you guys try the jewlery store, there might be a security camera up in a room or hall way where there was not one last time you played. Or this time maybe there will be a NPC in a building across the street that might see you guys and call the police. You never know what to expect.
Depending on how you treat hostages, the cops will take their time and stay back or the SWAT team will drop smoke and rush you.
the cops will even try to take your loot if you leave it unattended.
This is one of those FPS tactical type games that will be a blast with the right friends online. You really have to depend on each other to do your task and not screw up. One mess up and you have to shoot your way out.
I will be playing the beta and posting videos. I know this is coming out for the 360 not the xbox one but You can play your 360 games on the XB1 right?
I will be posting the mission gameplay in 720p because the 1080P is really bogging down my frame rates to like 24. That is lower than BF3 at ultra. But it is a beta so not optimized, You can expect the final game to get much better Frame Rates.
that looks epic, hopefully its a long game in single player.

It is hard as hell offline. The AI team mates are dumb as hell and useless. Also, there is not difficulty option that I can find. Each mission has a difficulty level of its own. But you can choose from a bunch of missions with out having to do them in any order. Not so great offline, would love some team mates.

Pay day 2 is the game i was only just speaking to HQ ozzy and a few other of the guys about it.. Sorta reminds me of Kane and Lynch where you robbed banks and in multiplayer you had to kill everyone on your team to be no#1 lol
I could not rate it yet. Not until I have played with some real people. Still working on that. Also I need to play more of the offline anyway to gain points to upgrade my guys skills so I can maybe have a better shot. But so far with my AI team, I have yet to complete a single mission. But will try to come up with some kind of rating after I spend more time with it.
I am not loving it right now, but I see the potential the game has with real players working together.

Ya, I like the way the level will change every time you play. People will be in different places, secruity cameras will be moved. Even what doors are open or locked will change. If you hit a store one game it will have 2 cash registers, you do the mission over again and there will be a safe in the wall instead. One game it has 5 grand next time it has 50 grand.
One of the maps that is pretty hard and I have not finished yet is one where you have to move 4 bags of cocaine from a truck you are in and keep them safe from the cops while in a fire fight. you have to move them all yourself because your AI team mates will not carry anything, so you have to pick one up move it go get another and so on, its slow and you have to keep running into gun fire. So I played the map and got up to the building where I have to throw the bags out a window into a vehicle below with a driver in it. you throw the bags in the back and he takes off, then you have to live long enough to get out alive another way. SO I died and failed.
So next round I was more efficient and got all the bags to the window before the pickup arrived so I would be ready for him. Guess what. The game fucks you, a voice on the intercom says the driver hit a snag and will be parking and waiting for you at another spot across the map! Shit all that work to get the bags here because that is where we brought them last game and now we have to take them to the other side of the map instead.
The game keeps you on your toes.
I can actually complete missions now with AI because I used cheat engine to give myself skill points to open up all the skills. So my guy is playing with full body armor and I have better tools of shooting and opening safes.
I felt this was needed if I was going to be playing with AI and actually finish a map to post.
As far as a rating.. A finished game with the bugs worked out... maybe an 8 or better on the fun scale to play with friends.
You can see the AI is pretty dumb, I had to keep telling them come on to get them to move. Sometimes me and wolf will be in a full on fire fight and the other AI guy will be outside next to a building leaning against a wall with his arms crossed nice and relaxed.

I just posted my first impressions of the game here.. Very impressive. I think you'll see plenty of videos from me soon.. Luv it so far and yes gamexxover, the AI is bloody hard.. hahah man its taken me 2hrs to get through i think 2-3 levels. in single player heists. Online will be so much fun.
Here's my first video from a series i would suspect. Great game, just hope the multiplayer holds up.
