That does look like a huge step forward from kinect v1. Only thing I question, which I'm surprised hasn't been brought up before, is how much processing power it uses? That was a big deal when the first kinect was released. Ps4 has faster ram, better GPU, no mandatory draw on CPU. As far as raw power ps4 has Xbox one beat hands down.

I'm starting a workout routine with the current Kinect to supplement, my swimming, biking, running and weight training.
The Kinect is nice to do some calisthenics and warm ups between sessions. You can even work your self just fine only using the Kinect but I like to get out as much as I can.
My mom is severe bipolar and has been since I was 4 years old. Over the time the meds have messed her body up. We are working with her to help her stay out of bed so much. She loves trying to do the exercises with the Kinect and we finally found a way to get her active. Nike + Kinect Trainer is just amazing in terms of fitness, it really works great.
I went back to Skyrim and now it has integration with Kinect Voice Recognition and just made the game so great.
I specially love the Dragon Shouts, it's pretty cool shouting to screen and watch everybody get knock the f out _________________________________________________________

The new kinect has it's own CPU from what im aware of, and hence the extra $100 on the price tag too i guess.. The PS3 had a better GPU and more ram than the Xbox 360 did it not??? No difference in games mate. oh sorry shaders maybe.. hahah
