This is where we will hold all info on the 360mod by aladdin2 temporarily until i have more time to code areas around the site..

I will attach any install pics to this topic also..

Backups must be in NME360 format, and the book-type of the DVD+R DL can be either DVD+R or DVD-ROM

Features:
- Low wire count, 4 or 11 wires
- one chip for Toshiba-Samsung drive
- one chip for Hitachi - LG drive
- Auto boot NME360 type backups.*
- Auto boot backups that is in dual format (xtreme/NME360). *
- Auto boot original games.*
- Mod360 will disable patching if an original game is detected. (perfect for xbox live)

I recently installed the Mod360 chip for my Hitachi drive and cannot get it to work. Will play DVD movies but not any games (backup or original). can someone help.

Hi,

Sounds like your install didnt go too well.. Sad
Personally i would remove the modchip to be sure your dvdrom drive is still working as it should..

I havent looked into the hitachi insall but the samsung was a breeze..

try posting a new topic.

Yeah definitely sounds like a problem with the install if the originals quit working. I would try to remove it and then see if they work, if not you may have caused some damage to the logic board.
