I was chatting with HQ Ozzy today and we both pretty much decided that we will be getting the next gen Xbox (Xbox 720), day one.. What are you plans? Are you thinking about it? It's going to be pretty pricey but will you still be trying to pick one up? Now that Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty Ghosts have both been announced for the new Xbox I am definitely grabbing one. Vote in the poll!

Nope, no chance. Im sticking with PC and XBOX1. The newer games (360/PS3/PC) just dont impress me so I see no point sinking cash into what Im sure will just dissapoint me game wise again.
Hell I havent even grabbed RE6 for PC yet. Yeah I know, I already smacked myself.

Depends on if all the rumors I've been hearing are true I'm leaning against but come a year or three I'll probably have both consoles.

I totally agree Hobbs. Someone in marketing dropped the ball again. Now you can't even call the original xbox "xbox 1". Pretty soon, I'll bet if you do a search on amazon etc for original xbox products as "xbox 1" you'll get results for the new system. :p
I remember I asked a rep at gamestop stop in 2006 why Microsoft didn't just call it an "Xbox 2"
He said, "people would think it's not as good as a PS3 because it's one number behind." Sigh... A rose by any other name is still just as sweet.
Video game players are almost impossible to market to.
I remember the first hacker of the xbox Andrew Huang wrote in his book "Hacking the xbox":
"Video game customers are picky, trendy, and frugal. They demand high-performance, sexy console hardware at the price of a fancy family dinner or a visit to the doctor."
The silly naming of the xbox 1 is a classic example of what he was talking about.
