Hey guys, ok so i'm finally back in business and back on the scnee. Long time no for those of you that have been here since i left, and hello to those of you that haven't.
So, with the very gracious help of LegendaryFire, i have managed to successfully RGH my Trinity board and install FSD 2.2 and Dashlaunch 2.7.
I also have my games running from an external USB drive (something which i wanted to see happen many years ago even before the Xbox 360 was only a rumor!)
Now what i'm curious about is simple. Can i take a regular internal SATA and install it inside the Xbox 360 slim in the HDD bay and have it formatted as a regular memory device like i do with the USB drive so i can then use the remainder of it's storage for storing actual games and that way i could just FTP the games into the HDD from my PC?
I ask this because i'd rather have an internal drive than an external one.
Thanks
Pred
p.s. It's good to be back _________________________________________________________ Predtech

A JTAG console can boot games from regular FAT32 and NTFS? ( I think so)
I had plans in installing a sata HDD on the DVD drive spot however one of the screws got jammed (I dont know the right term in english) so I had to abort.
As for game saves the HDD need to be formated in xbox360 format, I think it's called NTSF+ or something like that.
PS: Welcome back mate, last time I saw you was on xbox-hq maybe a year or more ago _________________________________________________________

Ok, so i looked into it and it's looks like i'll be ok to do what i want. I'm gonna connect the HDD to the xbox and format it as a memory device, then move it to my PC and install the FSD auto installer to it and reinstall FSD 2.2 on that instead of the USB drive i currently run.
Then i'm gonna just FTp my games over to the xbox via WIFI and that way there's no need for moving the drive at all!
Thanks for the help X_Splinter _________________________________________________________ Predtech
