The FREE 360-HQ.COM Desktop Gadget for Windows 7 and Windows VISTA allows you to embed one of our custom Xbox LIVE Gamercards directly on your desktop/sidebar. Version 0.4 also features the latest Xbox 360 News. If you don't want the news you can install gadget version 0.3.
What's New/Fixed v0.4:
- Latest Xbox 360 News Displays below Gamercard
- Code Base & Javascript library cleaned for future version
- Multi-Tabbed News Feed Intergration Started (not implemented)
How to Use:
1. Download the file "360-HQ_Desktop_Gadget_v0.4.zip"
2. Unzip the Desktop Gadget onto your desktop
3. Double click the .gadget installer.
4. When the popup occurs you must click "yes" otherwise it will not install
5. Once it has installed and is displayed on your desktop click on the settings icon (spanner)
6. Enter your Xbox LIVE gamertag
7. Choose the style of your Xbox LIVE Gamercard to display.
8. Done!
You can easily uninstall from the gadget uninstall screen at anytime.
Registered 360-HQ.COM members can choose from over 15 different gamercard styles.

Its coming along nicely, bit by bit it'll grow and end up being a really good way of getting information from the site. Don't forget the mulitab idea hehe.

been working on that too, i just don't want to make the gadget too big so im looking at coding ways to make it expand and contract depending on what you want to use.

over 100 desktop gadgets installed now. glad you all like it, shame no one likes to comment much lol.. but all good, im not doing it for the glamor. haha
enjoy, and i will update whenever i get a chance with more cool features.
I want to have more info like your xbox live friends etc, but i think you will need to be logged in on the xbox.com website first before i can do that.

the script is still in BETA so sorry for the prob,
I did notice the reason you waited so long was because your member ID is very LATE in the scrape.. eg. there are thousands of gamercards to go through before yours.. anyway, I am looking into ways of improving this now, thanks for your feedback eitherway. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

I've been searching the web for a good gamertag gadget and yet to find one, i downloaded your's but when i enter my gamertag all i get is X's where the pictures should be.
