Found this on Wikipedia. I'm so angry.
Release
Mortal Kombat is available for pre-order in three different editions: "The Standard Edition", "The Kollector's Edition", and "The Tournament Edition". The Standard Edition consist of a copy of Mortal Kombat. The Kollector's Edition consists of: a copy of Mortal Kombat, Sub-Zero and Scorpion figurine bookends, an art book, and a downloadable content skin, dubbed a "Mortal Kombat Klassic costume". The Tournament Edition is the same as the Kollector's Edition but instead of having bookends and an art book, it consists of a fight stick controller. Preordering at the retailers Wal-Mart, GameStop, Best Buy and Amazon.com allows for the acquiring of classic Mortal Kombat skins and Fatalities for Mileena, Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Reptile, respectively.[61][62] Additionally, Xbox 360 owners who preorder any version will receive Mortal Kombat-themed costumes for their avatars.[63] A "Kollector's Edition" of Mortal Kombat has also been announced for the European regions which includes: downloadable costumes, figurines, a steel casing, and an art book.[64]
In February 2011, the game was refused classification by the Australian Classification Board due to "violence that exceeds strong in impact".[65] Warner Bros. appealed the decision,[66] but they were unsuccessful.[67] The game is now on the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service list of prohibited items. Importing the game is illegal in Australia, with any copy found at the border being seized, and its recipient possibly receiving as much as a A$110,000 fine.

I volunteer to send you guys a copy with funds being reimbursed. I'm sure there are several ways to send a game through customs. I'm also thinking Scarface wouldn't have an issue with getting it down there. _________________________________________________________

Yeah I wouldn't even put it in a cover. Id send you guys like a shirt or something with it tucked in the middle. I would definitely do some research before hand though. Where there's a will, there's a way. But on the 125K fine note, that is very scary. I still dont see what the big deal is with the ratings. _________________________________________________________

All I know is
1. It's bloody annoying
2. It frustrates me so much
3. I have played every MK game to date so this is a real kick in the balls
4. I'm well over 18 (27 to be exact) and I think that I should be able to choose what I watch and play by now and should be able to get these items for my own personal use
5. I see modding rising up so people can play this
6. I am sick and tired of missing out on great games or getting cut down versions. It leaves big holes in the Australian gaming industry and leaves Australia so much behind the curve it's not funny.
