Modern Warfare 3 has been unveiled by the New York Times. Infinity Ward (Sledgehammer) will be getting some help this time round with Developer "Raven" jumping in to take on the multiplayer modes. The game is currently rumored for release Nov, 2011
Raven Software, which had previously been attached to the Call of Duty franchise in a downloadable-content creating capacity, is said to be handling Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer mode.

hmm... that video was posted 2009. And now the game is going to be released november 2011? Ok, if they really worked on this game for 2 years then is going to be awesomeeee

Can't say that I'm at all excited. I'm really burnt out with COD games. The companies are just milking it for all they can anymore. With a new one coming out every year, it makes it impossible to enjoy one game too long.
Another thing I don't want is for the rest of the people still on MW2 to move onto MW3. I still like to play MW2 from time to time so I'd be sad if that happened. _________________________________________________________

yeh man, i know what your saying bro. I'm sick of COD too but really what else is there to play.. I love my battlefield sure, but even i am burnt out on it until the new BF3 releases which is totally different to BAD COMPANY (thank fk).
Is that how you are with your gears?? You used to love it so much but now you say you doubt you will even get gears3..
The only games im looking forward too personally this year are:
- Battlefield 3
- Homefront
- Dead Island
- Modern Warfare 3
- Mortal Kombat
I'm just kind of burnt out on xbox gaming. Whenever I get on it to try to play MW2 or Gears 1 I'm not used to a controller in my hand so after a few rounds I get bored and get off. I actually traded in my mass effect and my orange box for the 360 and bought them on steam. I also bought bioshock, shadowrun and left 4 dead 1 on PC even though I have all of those games on my xbox already. I just like PC gaming more now, a keyboard and mouse feels more natural to me. About the only thing I can't do on a mouse that I can do on a controller is snipe.
As for what games I'm looking forward to, I can't really say there is too many. This is my list as of right now:
- Rage
- Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Otherwise, I can't really say I'm too excited for anything else. I'll probably pick up bulletstorm on steam whenever it drops down to $20 and I'll probably continue to play Team Fortress 2 and BFBC2 on Steam. The main reason I'm not really looking forward to gears 3 is I'm assuming it will be a lot like gears 2 - matchmaking, shotgun is weak, all combat is long range, etc. Unless they can make the multiplayer more like Gears 1 again, I think the game will probably be a rent/ buy used when it's $20 type of deal. _________________________________________________________
