Things you need:
-Jungleflasher 1.78 beta
-0800 Firmware for the drive you want to mod
-Your Type of Drive: Benq, lite-on or samsung
-Connectivity Kit Im show how to do it for all 3 drives starting with lite-on
I am only going to show how to do this is not to mod to play games in on your xbox 360 that is a different tutorial this allows you to stick your originals in the xbox 360 drive and rip them to your computer for backup purpose's. These drives can get picked up for $25-40 and are a lot better to use then kreon drives is what i have heard.
LITE-ON any model will work
-Power the drive with the connectivity kit
-Open up Jungleflasher 1.78
-Click the MTK Flash 32 Tab and what you are going to do is a Lite-On erase to the drive so click that button it will say u have no firmware loaded just continue it is no worries. You will get to the part were it will tell you to click yes and to shut the connectivity kit off and back on do this. Now the drive should be in vendor mode and make sure you have the correct Flash Chip Properties which will be,
Vendor ID: 0xC2
Device ID: 0x11
Name MXIC also can show another named called: WINBOND
Type Serial Flash with Status 0x72
-Once the drive has these correct properties if they dont try the intro/device id button again and follow instructions that pop up tell you get them.
- Go into FirmwareTool 32 Click Open Target Firmware and find the 0800 firmware for the lite-on drive once found open it. Dont worry about spoofing or anything like this and dont mess with the open source firmware.
- Go back to MTK Flash 32 and click the Write Button once it is complete with the flash hit the outro ata reset button ( your drive will not show up this is ok) You are done now like with windows 7 i dont know about others you can go into your device manager and scan for new hardware and it will find it if not just restart your computer with the connectivity kit still on and it should install (windows might take a couple mins to load)

Benq Drive in 0800 Firmware
Now if your drive has been flashed before you might have to do the half tray open trick before you turn on jungleflasher so do this if it has been moded before which im sure if your doing this 0800 firmware mod you know how to do this already for the tray. you can always try the benq unlock button should not hurt anything. but here goes.
Turn on jungleflasher after you did the half tray trick on the benq drive.
-Go to MTK Flash 32
-Click Intro/Device ID Follow the prompt it will tell you to probably turn the connectivity kit off and back on after you click yes.
-Now you are in vendor mode
- Go into FirmwareTool 32 Click Open Target Firmware and find the 0800 firmware for the benq drive once found open it. Dont worry about spoofing or anything like this and dont mess with the open source firmware.

Samsung Drive in 0800 Firmware

Backing up your original games
I use Xbox Backup Creator you can use imgburn to i think i have not so not sure.
Just load up XBC and then go to read have it at 12x and click start choose your area u want to save the file and go.
Important: after it is done use the new abgx that is out to patch the game correctly if it is needed after that it is all done and good to go. Specially on new games as both kreon and 0800 drives will not rip the 2.5 sector out on new games there should be update firmware soon. But if you use the newest abgx it will patch this into the game.
